Welcome to the 23nd episode of Gus Tails where we look back at the life of Gus the Basset Hound. In our last episode (Episode 22) Gus and his friends are getting spirited about the year end holidays in 2014. We pick things up from there.

Louise is wondering what presents are hers under the tree.
But after a tasty treat she contemplates a nap with her friendly stuffed bear.
Gus’ favorite part of Christmas morning was cleaning up. He always started with a thorough shredding of anything in his path.
Gus will not stop until every loose piece of wrapping paper and ribbon is shredded to his satisfaction.
As you can see Louise is excited about her new toys…
while Gus stays dedicated to his work.
The stress of the holidays has finally worn down Louise and Gus.
A couple of days later Gus is still recovering (or preparing for New Year’s Eve). He was quite happy when Vanessa put fresh sheets on her bed because that meant Gus could camp out on the floor.
