A wonderful Dunkel from Germany

Today’s beer is a Dunkel (dark lager) from Flensburger Brauerei. Man, this is an excellent beer and I am almost convinced that my New Year’s resolution is to buy more of my beer from Flenburger Brauerei. Smooth and malty, this is a wonderful beer for a cool December evening, but I think it would be just as good anytime of year.
At this point you might wonder “Do you ever have a bad beer?” The answer is yes, but I don’t talk about those. If I do come across a bad beer this Advent season you won’t hear about it. I’ll just find a good beer and write about it. I feel it is my responsibility to provide optimism and light through the drinking of good beer.
