Friday the 13th with another pecan inspired beer

Yesterday, on Day 12 of Advent I enjoyed a pecan inspired Brown ale from Independence Brewing Company in Austin, Texas.
Today, Friday, December 13 (no bad luck so far) I enjoyed an English Dark Mild Pecan Proper from New Braunfels Brewing Company located in (as you might have guessed) New Braunfels, Texas. Pecan Proper is a very pleasant beer with a smooth flavor. The pecan essence works well. This is my last can of a six pack of Pecan Proper that I’ve been slowly savoring over a couple of months, but I do see Pecan Proper is still available at New Braunfels Brewing. I may need to make a short drive there before the holidays.
Coming up tomorrow a pecan porter from (512) Brewing company. Yeah, that’s right, I’m on a three day pecan ale bender that will hopefully end on Day 14.
