Hmm, well, there have been numerous complaints about recent episodes of Gus Tails. All of the complaints came from one source: Louise, the Terrier/Dachshund mix. She feels she has not been getting enough recognition for her story. She might be right, but to be honest, when she gets upset she has a very shrill bark and in order to avoid her shrill bark (which has more than once set off the Decibel Warning of my Apple Watch) I have acquiesced to her demands.
Here Louise is looking both pensive and adorable.
This is her “surely it is treat time” look.
A little later the same day, Louise is ready for a nap, a little love or preferably some combination of both.
And here she is in full napping mode.
To show she is not a complete drama queen, Louise okayed some Gus photos.
Gus in profile along the Blanco River as it winds through Wimberley. I like how the trees are reflected in the river water.
To wrap up this episode of Gus Tails, one more photo of Louise. You will notice that in all of these Louise photos she is relaxing. She wants all of our Gus Tails readers to know she is a very hardworking dog. Her primary responsibility is homeland security. She laughs at the humans who think they have their own department for such things. Future episodes of Gus Louise Tails will include photos of her on the job.
