Advent calendar 2024 - Day 4
A sense of Déjà vu: yet another Dunkelweizen
On Day 3 of Advent I had a pleasant few moments with my gateway craft beer style (wheat ale/beer).

On Day 4 I had a Shiner Dunkelweizen. Why? Because yesterday I so enjoyed tasting a good Dunkelweizen, I decided to try the same style but from a different brewer, this one from the oldest craft brewery in the state of Texas.
The two Dunkelweizens were similar, but different. Similar in that both are good for standalone drinking or with a meal. Different in that the Shiner Dunkelweizen had a little stronger flavor in the finish. All in all, both are excellent and I look forward to having more of both in the future.
I am moving my drinking time to a little earlier in the evening each day and plan to keep doing so for the rest of the month. My goal? The last week of Advent I want to get these posts out no later than 1:00 pm each day.
On Day 5 of Advent I experience a bock and a half.
