Welcome to the 17th episode of Gus Tails where we look back at the life of Gus the Basset Hound. In our last episode (Episode 16) we looked at three videos of Gus the Wild Man, and photos of his friends Louise and Tiger.
Louise in a moment of repose and rest.
Tiger in one of his adorable moments. Tiger would “head bonk” to say hello. When I would go over to our daughter Vanessa’s condo I would say hello to Tiger, then lean forward, putting my forehead on the same level as him. Tiger would then walk forward and “bonk” my head, bumping lightly his head against mine.
Gus resting on the couch. He often liked to lay his head on a pillow when he rested.
And, then at times a nice soft rug was the perfect place for a Gus nap. Here he is finishing a nice yawn.
Now we begin to see Tiger’s dark side. In low light the innocent Tiger appears menacing.
Here is Tiger in all of his “I’m watching you and everything you do. Nothing escapes me. Nothing.”
Gus in the backyard with Louise. If we zoom in on Gus we see he is howling to the world.
Gus near the beginning of a long, exciting day, taking the ever important but often ignored late mid-morning nap.
Louise looks rather pensive and regretful, doesn’t she?
Gus was always a very adaptable hound. Here he is using a table as a place to rest his head.
Next week Gus the Dude and his friends return in Episode 18 of Gus Tails. Don’t miss it!
Great pics of Gus, Lou, and Tiger! Some of the greats! 😊
