Gus Tails - Episode 28
A travelin' Gus, Louise, Curry and Dyna the feral cat! Ah, who can handle such excitement and cuteness? All from the fall of 2015.
Welcome to the 28th episode of Gus Tails where we look back at the life of Gus the Basset Hound. In our last episode (Episode 27) we witnessed the power and beauty of a good Gus napping.
Let’s get this episode started with a lovely still life of Dyna the feral cat keeping a close eye on the neighborhood while Gus pulls together a comprehensive plan of adventures for a crisp fall day.
In contrast to Gus’ accomplishment driven lifestyle, Curry and Louise focus their thoughts on achieving a true state of nirvana only achieved via strict meditation and the proper treats being brought to them in a timely fashion.
Two days later, Gus, having fallen behind on his accomplishment plan, ponders what he should do the rest of the week. It looks like he plans to toss as many pillows as he can reach onto the floor.
Exhausted by all of the work required to get ready for Thanksgiving, Gus decides to take the day, no, the week, off.
Dyna, the feral cat, applying her management and delegation skills to the humans decorating the house for Christmas.
Travelin’ Gus on the road from West Columbia to Wimberley to see Vanessa, Curry, Louise and Tiger. Gus enjoyed traveling as long as he had a good bed to rest on, plenty of treats, and frequent rest breaks to sniff out what members of dog nation were there before him.
Ah, the very important post decorating for Christmas nap… Gus is ready for anything that comes his way with two beds close at hand.
Next week in Episode 29 of Gus Tails more tails of Gus and his friends from Christmas 2015 and New Year’s 2016.
Gus visits were always the best! ♥️
