Dyna the feral cat always enjoyed watching over us from underneath the Christmas tree. Look closely at the bottom center right of the photo to see Dyna watching you.
Here’s a blow-up of Dyna under the Christmas tree.
Can you see the resemblance? That’s not Dyna but it is a picture of a very similar looking cat on a concert poster from the mid 1960’s.
Gus resting his noggin on an arm of the couch.
An excited Gus on Christmas Eve morning.
And just a moment later, that very same Gus taking a long yawn and getting ready for the ever important mid-morning nap.
Gus looking askance at me and saying “Leave me be. It is time to nap. Wake me only if there are sausages, cheeses, or treats to have.”
Gus looking ever cool and saying “Turn up the volume. I need to hear ‘Sun Cycle’ by Blue Cheer.”
Just a little after 6:00 pm that Christmas Day in 2017 Gus curled up on the couch for a long winter’s nap.
A particularly cute photo of Dyna.
Gus finalizing his preparations for New Year’s Eve 2017.
Worn out by the New Year’s celebrations, the football games, the food and the fun Gus takes a well deserved nap, confident that 2018 would be a good year. Turns out he was right, it was a good year.
Next week in Episode 59 we look at the winter of 2018 with Gus, his tails and his friends.
